Hello,

In this edition of Joshua's Journal, I will be focusing on just one
book. A very new book. In fact, so new it is not even off the press
as yet. A book that we have been asked continuously about for so many
months. Yes, it's Tony Bushby's second book, *The Secret in the
Bible*.

It's soon to be released and I have included details below on how
you can order your copy and get it before everyone else does (half
the first print run is already spoken for!)

I make no apologies if a good portion of this newsletter sounds like
a sales spiel because that's exactly what it is. I am so passionate
about Tony's books that I believe everyone, and do I mean everyone
irrespective of race or religion, should have copies of both these
books on their bookshelf. I know many readers would agree with
me as they have commented that, after reading *The Bible Fraud*, they
have given away copies as gifts to close friends and relatives.

In the last newsletter, I told you about the competition we are
running with the prize being the first copy of *The Secret in the
Bible* we take delivery of from the printer. Well, we have
received such enthusiasm about this competition that we have decided

2) THE SECRET

4) THAT RECLUSIVE AUTHOR

Tony Bushby was born in Australia in the 1940's and is the author of
a number of journalistic reports on the subject of Near Death
Experiences. He has also published other material on esoteric
subjects.

In 1985, Tony began an investigation into the origins of
Christianity and the activities of the established religions
throughout the world. Whilst many authors have written on the
subject, Tony has gained respect for his works which fill many gaps
and, I believe, offers a more complete picture than many of the
others give.

His first book, *The Bible Fraud*, is still selling thousands of
copies in all countries of the world.

He is a meticulous and outstanding researcher and, now after 15
years of full-time investigation, he has written a truly powerful
book, *The Secret in the Bible*.

Tony travels to many parts of the world to find answers to his
questions about ancient and hidden mysteries and, for this reason, we
only see him infrequently. Currently, much of his time is spent in
Egypt undertaking further research in the Rare Archive Division of
the Alexandrian Library in Alexandria.

Though he is very reclusive and extremely dedicated to his work, a
while ago we did manage to arrange an interview with him, which we

5) WHAT A BOOK THIS IS

"What a book this is. No wonder I could never find reliable sources
as to the existence of the supposed Jesus in secular history. It has
opened up a whole new area for me for further research.

An ex-minister of Christianity in America recommended me via e-mail
that I should purchase and read this book. I'm sure glad he did.

So, on reading this book by Australian author Tony Bushby, (I find)
*The Bible Fraud* highlights the deception that took place and is
still taking place within the institution known as Christianity. It
embraces many areas of the early Christian movement, which is unlike
anything we might see today.

*The Bible Fraud* has rekindled my interest greatly and it's obvious
that the author has done extensive research beyond what the average
layperson could ever hope to accomplish. The author provides archival
evidence showing why the suppression of facts is as important to the
Churches today as it was almost 2000 years ago. Current Christian
ministers and congregations who have never questioned their faith
would brand this book as heretical. However, this book should be of
great interest for all people who have an understanding of Christian
history.

Is Tony Bushby correct? Well I don't really know, but it has
certainly reinforced within my mind and strengthened my belief in the
deliberate deception of the church and my perception has been
magnified on a whole range of issues pertaining to the Church.

I will most certainly view additional Church history in a different
light than the way I perceived it prior to reading *The Bible Fraud*.
The book held my interest from start to finish, I will read it time
and time again and it will forever hold a special place in my
bookcase."

6) THE COMPETITION

As I mentioned in the last newsletter, Joshua Books are giving all
the readers of Joshua's Journal the opportunity to win a copy of
Tony's second book *The Secret in the Bible* by submitting a short
article (500 words or less) with the subject "How my life changed
after reading *The Bible Fraud*".

We have received some very memorable and moving submissions already,
some of these we hope to reprint in future editions of Joshua's
Journal. (Of course, we would seek the writer's permission before we
use your comments and we would only use initials for anonymity).

The quality of the submissions has been very good and it will be a
task for the judges to choose just one. This being so, the top three
(3)submissions will now each receive a copy of *The Secret in the
Bible*. These three will be the very first we receive from the
printer.

The competition closes on October 31 so please get your entries in
as soon as possible. All submissions will be judged after the
competition closes and the books despatched as soon as we receive
