TRISH RAYNER was born and raised in the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria in southern Australia where she married at the age of twenty and went on to have four sons. At the age of twenty-five, the family moved to Queensland’s sunny Gold Coast, where they shared a mutual love for the great outdoors.

After her husband’s sudden death from melanoma cancer as a result of the “great outdoors”, Trish was angry because she realised how ignorant they had been to the danger of the sun’s UV rays. With encouragement from family and friends, Trish decided she had to get the message out there! Birthmark—Death By Melanoma is her first book.
