The Crucifixion of Truth Testimonial

The Crucifiction of Truth“I can give The Crucifixion of Truth to ex-Christians like myself, but cannot seem to bring myself to give a copy to my Christian friends and family members, because it would utterly shatter their whole world.

“I long ago came to some understanding of the falsehoods that characterize and define the Christian religion, but until reading The Crucifixion of Truth, I remained unable to find just one book alone, that by itself, without requiring the reading of fifty or more others as well, would so sufficiently and impeccably "prove the case" to any reader who is at least making just a little effort at objectivity.  I doubt that I would share all of Mr. Bushby's personal views:  for one thing, I very much still believe in miracles — not the supposed ones that are solidly proven by Mr. Bushby to be entirely fabricated within the New Testament of the Bible — but some that I have directly experienced myself (such as the sudden and complete cure of my own paralyzed arms and hands that more than twenty doctors had told me were absolutely incurable — not after praying to Jesus and the Father, which understandably accomplished absolutely nothing, but instead after finally asking our Divine Mother to cure me), and likewise very many that have similarly been experienced by others who have written to me (including, as just one example, a lifelong cripple, Andy, who did exactly as I advised and prayed to Divine Mother Kali for an incredible four hours a day, and, immediately upon finishing his prayers on the third day, was suddenly able to stand and to walk, for the first time in his life — he is not crippled anymore).  Hinduism, though, at least takes a myth presented in any one of our scriptures, as a myth (potentially with spiritual teaching value), and not as the inerrant word of God to be taken literally — and any Hindu who takes anything on blind faith as is required in Christianity instead of personally testing out its truth himself or herself directly, is at best a bit of a lazy coward, and at worst, a complete fool.

“In 35 years as a Christian, never even once did I ever meet anyone who had received an apparition of either Jesus or the Father — and yet, in just one year as a Hindu priest, I have already hopelessly lost count of the number of Hindus I have met who can indeed convincingly describe the experience of receiving an apparition of our Divine Mother (and naturally, I discriminate, dismiss, and discard the many flight-of-fancy nighttime dreams that other people relate to me).  The reason why Hindus can literally "see God" and Christians cannot, is indeed quite simple:  "Jesus" did not do any of "the work" for us, we must all each do it ourselves, and it takes at least a couple hours a day of long-sustained effort at offering devotional spiritual practice, to have a chance of directly having such an experience — one simply cannot merely say once that he or she has "accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior," and then go about life throwing one Our Father a day to "God" and perhaps going to some church for an hour on the occasional Sunday or Saturday — if one actually wishes to be able to prove to oneself, that "God" does indeed exist.

“I hold Mr. Bushby in the very highest esteem, for doing a far better job than do most Hindus themselves, at living up to our highest value, truthfulness.  I have read that Mr. Bushby prefers to retain his privacy (and, being quite a recluse myself, other than my Internet presence, certainly I understand).”
