Malu Hall was born in the Philippines in 1931 where she grew up with her Spanish American parents. As a young woman she became an infant and primary school teacher. She later married and immigrated with her husband and four children to Australia in 1970. In Australia, Malu worked at a school for handicapped children and obtained university degrees in physio-therapy and occupational therapy. She has since worked in hospitals, rehabilitation centres and as a consultant physiotherapist for the NSW Department of Education. With more than twenty-five years of experience, she is continually inspired by these special kids.
