And I have included an extra portion of Interesting Links. The first topic is an interview of Clif High which was recorded just under a week ago by Mel Fabregas from the Veritas Show. The recording is usually privy only to a paid membership but it is available in its entirety just for the next 24 hours when it will be taken down. I encourage you to jump right on it. ******************************** 1) THE WEB BOT TRACKS COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS Since its conception in the late 1990's, creator of the Web Bot Project Clif High and his associate George Ure has made a number of very accurate and insightful predictions regarding coming events. Originally designed to track stock market trends, the Web Bot crawls the Internet looking for patterns of behaviour, trends and chatter pertaining to coming events by using a form of the "wisdom of the crowd" and searching for about 300,000 keywords with emotional context and records the preceding and following words to create a "snapshot." This tool is believed to be able to forecast the future by tapping into the collective conscious of society and be able to predict catastrophic events 60 to 90 days in advance. Ure and High have presented predictions about the economy and U.S. and world events and these are based on technology which gives archetype descriptors of future events by tracking language pattern changes within Internet discussions forums. The Web Bot warns of a big tipping point, possibly a stock market crash or financial issue of some sort during November 5-14, 2010. Here are some of the highlights of what they see coming (documented in early 2010) – *No warfare between Israel and Iran, at least not until November. *Six very large earthquakes are yet to come during the rest of 2010. *A major tipping point will occur between November 8th – 11th, 2010, followed by a 2-3 month release period. This tipping point appears to be US-centric, and could be a dramatic world-changing event like 9-11 that will have rippling after-effects. The collapse of the dollar might occur in November. *From July 8th, 2010 onward, civil unrest will take place, possibly driven by food prices skyrocketing, and the devaluation of the dollar. *A second depression, triggered by mass layoffs, bankruptcies, and the popping of the "derivatives bubble," will see people moving out of cities. *After March 2011, the revolution wave will settle down into a period of reformation. *A "data gap" has been found between early 2012 running through May 2013. One explanation is that "our civilization gets knocked back to a pre-electronic state," such as brought about by devastating solar activity. *A new benign form of capitalism will emerge during 2017-2020. Now as the head of a publishing house, of course books still play a big part in my life but in a different way. Joshua Books has a role to play now as a bridge between authors and the public and we will continue to play that role without becoming “puppets” to any Matrix Masters as I call them. Back to books that have influenced me though. I do not have a big library at home, in fact it is quite modest and contains books on those things that I am interested in - books that I still read and refer to on a regular basis as I seek information or knowledge. It is amazing how little has really changed as things are just said differently to reach a new generation. When I read something for the umpteenth time, I still get a new message or understanding of the text. I really respect those talented authors who can teach us things and entertain us with their incredible use of words. I feel that the written word speaks to us in a very personal way through books if we are experiencing the right book for us at the time we are reading it. I have attended many workshops and lectures by prominent speakers and leaders in their field but regardless of the impact of the spoken word at the time, I invariably come away with a book in order that I can revisit the message as often as I want or in fact need to. The publishing industry is undergoing massive change at this time with electronic readers and e-books for example, but for me nothing will replace a book that is edited, formatted, printed and bound as an ongoing source of knowledge and reference. Revisit some of your own old books again and see exactly what they mean to you. ******************************** 5) IN MY MIND Repeating the following gem is worthwhile in view of the political circus here in Australia, the G-20 meeting, mid-term elections in US, so called currency wars and whatever else might be happening in a town near you. My son Joshua started his working life in a factory that makes surfboards here on the Sunshine Coast at the tender age of 14 years. He did this as well as attend school of course. The guys he worked with were a bunch of typical Aussies with little respect for the establishment. Josh came home one day laughing about a big sign on the wall of the factory that said: DON’T VOTE FOR POLITICIANS AS IT ONLY ENCOURAGES THEM. Seems like that is still good advice some 16 years on.
