1) GLOBAL COWBOYS

As our world sees an increase in problems at the local level, it is becoming more difficult for countries like the USA to maintain a global influence while dealing with internal problems such as high unemployment and rising inflation at the same time as a record deficit which means very high individual debt. Obama just runs the money printing presses as a cure all.

Take most developed countries in the world and the scenario is the same at least as far as a need to focus on internal problems. European countries are in exactly the same position and with the finance levels needed to hold the EU together and protect the Euro, there is little left to interfere with the politics of other countries in the region.

Asia and China face enormous inflationary threat and in many countries increasing internal dissent needs to be dealt with.

Here in Australia, the Federal—and most State—governments are reckless in their level of spending and continually “milk” big business (read our mining industry) to fund their promises. A classic example of this is the amount of money The Feds have committed to aid in Indonesia while bickering over the amount to be committed to our own citizens adversely affected by floods, cyclones and bushfires of a proportion never seen before in recorded history.

The G8 and G20 are now toothless tigers who seem unable to decide what to have for lunch. It is a big circus that is driven by the constant need to buy votes to stay in power. Perhaps we will see developed countries focusing on fixing their internal problems as the priority.

I am not an economist or so called “expert” in global affairs or local politics, for that matter, but I can express my thoughts in this newsletter as a concerned Australian and although the issues are different, I am sure many people all over the world would feel the same. I should repeat yet again that I am not a conspiracy theorist, although many of the books published and sold through Joshua Books put forward that scenario for our readers to consider. For example, those in the Ancient Wisdom category by authors like David Icke.

Call me naive, but I do believe that the light will always shine through the dark at all levels of our own lives and that of others and that it all starts with us thinking respectfully for all universal inhabitants. Many of the products in our Motivation & Success and Health & Wellbeing sections reflect this sentiment.

2) EGYPTIAN PYRAMIDS IN QUEENSLAND

In Strange and Mysterious Anomalies I talk about the pyramids that were at Gympie and nearby Rainbow Beach and also one at Gosford near Sydney. We had a gold rush at Gympie in the early 1900s but we were only finding the gold left by the Egyptians. They had taken masses of gold from the area over a long tenure. Many Egyptian artefacts have been found in the Gympie district.

Not well known is that the Egyptians used gum leaves (eucalyptus) in their mummification and sourced these from Australia. It would appear they sourced them from North Queensland. Aborigines in far North QLD apparently learned this practice from the Egyptians and mummified their dead. This was unique across the whole of the country. Also, three Aboriginal boomerangs were found in Tutankhamen’s tomb. The Egyptians today say they are ‘message sticks’ but I have seen them in the Cairo museum.

The pyramid at Peak Crossing may be a hugely coincidental mountain but it doesn’t look like it. At the rear, water has run down and formed a lake. That is where I will look to see evidence of stone blocks or simply soil.

3) JULIA’S CARBON TAX

This tax will be the most insidious imposed by any government in history. As it is a tax on the production of energy, it will affect and increase the cost of everything that uses energy to be produced! All food, transport, electricity, water, building materials, steel, fuel to name but a few.

As it will have a direct impact on all industry, it will not only increase the cost of everything Australia produces, it will make us even more uncompetitive than we already are. It will, without any doubt, cost jobs. It will send some small business to the wall. It will have a huge negative impact on the very people the Australian Labor Party pretend to represent—the worker, the poor and the underprivileged.

And what effect will it have on the climate? As Australia’s carbon emissions are less than 2% of the world’s total, not much if any.

And don’t forget the science of global warming/climate change has been shown to be flawed. Just do a Google search if you don’t believe so. This tax is just a cynical attempt by the Gillard Government to tax an already over-taxed Australia in an attempt to cut a deficit that they created by wasteful spending and mismanagement.

Those of you who are in Australia, do not let this tax become a reality. Write, email, text or tweet your local federal member to express your opposition to this tax on everything. If you agree with the view I have expressed please forward it on.
