Diana Markovitz - authorDIANA MARKOVITS has been the director of a kindergarten on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia for the past twenty-three years.

At twelve years of age, Diana was sent off to boarding school, but unlike her protagonist (Elspeth), she very much looked forward to the experience. Once she got there, she faced som unexpected challenges. Fortunately, Diana is pleased to say that things eventually changed for the better!
