Facing down the charlatans in power

Hi John,

Thanks for the encouraging words. I lost my sister recent[ly] and it made me wonder just what is this life all about. Why is there so much suffering. I also saw a documentary about life after death and I was woindering do i really want to be born again, to come back to this earth when the history of humanity is so much suffering and injustices. Its endless. I wonder about the god of love that allows all this to take place. So I get baffled about what this life is all about.

But your words were encouraging. I guess we must just plod on and fight the eveil forces around us.

I see a new awakening all over the world. People are fed up with governments and politicians who are nothing more than charlatans. Whatever agenda the powers that be have they will not succeed. They stand exposed. The peoples of the world are aware of the diabolical forces that mess up our lives.

Yes we must see our material prpoblems through spiritual lens. This is the great mistake that we have made. Its why Gandhi's teachings are becoming more relevant, note the Wall Street Occupations and the emphasis on non-violent forms of struggle.

We are living in intereating and challenging times. The resolution of the crises we are fqcing now will lead to a better world. Despite my despondency at times I believe that a  new spiritual age will emerge eventually.
