CATHERINE SAROUKAS was born in Darwin, Australia. In 2003, she was diagnosed with the degenerative eye disease Retinitis Pigmentosa and shortly after was declared legally blind. Aided by her guide dog, Austin, since 2008, she feels optimistic about the future and loves what a great team they have become.

Catherine regularly holds interactive educational presentations for children and adults. From each presentation held, $5.00 of each book sale will be donated to the host-nominated organisation or charity.
